1. How do I book?
Booking a ticket could not be easier. Simply pay with credit card securely online, or alternatively call us up on 02890 326567 and pay over the phone. You may wish to call in person and pay and you may do so at our office in Belfast. Our office hours are Monday- Friday 9:00am - 4.30pm.
 Pre-booking is essential to ensure a balanced mix of guests. Refunds can only be arranged 7 days before an event. However, you may have a friend (of the same sex) take your place. Please let us know in advance if you are transferring your ticket.
 
2. Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Many guests arrive with fellow single friends and many arrive alone. The atmosphere is relaxed and the object is to meet new people so you can be assured you will have a fun evening either way.
If you wish to bring a group of friends, please note they must also each book a ticket in advance. Entry to Gooseberry SpeedDating is restricted to guests who have booked their ticket in advance!
 
3. How many dates should I expect to meet?
At Gooseberry we strive to ensure a fair mix of guests at all our events.You can expect to meet up to 20+ new single people in one single event. This is more than the average person would meet in a year!! What are you waiting for??
 
4. What exactly happens at a Gooseberry event?
SpeedDating is a brand new era in dating. It is unique in its format whereby you can be assured of meeting up to 20+ singles in one night and in so far as you will experience no "on the spot" rejection! You can expect a fun night co-ordinated by professional hosts who will put you at ease and ensure everything runs smoothly.
 
5. What sort of people attend Gooseberry events?
Gooseberry and the concept of SpeedDating was designed for young people by young people, who wanted to expand their social circle. 
Gooseberry recognised the need for such events where like -minded people can meet, chat and match in a fun, relaxed safe environment. 
Our guests are from a wide range of backgrounds all with the common desire to meet new people. It is important to be aware that we are not a dating agency, but a Singles Event Company, specifically designed to facilitate single people today.
 
6. Is there an age limit?
Gooseberry events are restricted to over 18s only. We run events with different age categories, so check our EVENTS section to see what event is being run in your area today!
 
7. Will the same people be at every event?
 Gooseberry tend to attract 80% new people at each of their events. This means you will meet a whole new batch of folks at every event you attend!
 
8. What happens if I make a match?
 Don't be surprised if you make several matches in one single night! The following day Gooseberry will collate the information from your match cards and will inform you via email and SMS text messaging of your matches. We encourage both parties to call or email each other. Remember..... you already know the other person is interested in meeting you!.
